Rhino put out a great collection called "D.i.Y" in 1993. It's a nine disc series covering different punk scenes ( New York, L.A, Boston, England ect. ect. ).

Alright, finally . . . the best is a box set called 'NO THANKS - 70's Punk Rebellion'

4 cd's, it says 'The first definitive overview of the dawn of punk', in cludes 100 tracks featuring The Ramones, Iggy Pop, Buzzcocks, Talking Heads, New York Dolls, Dead Kennedys, The Clash The Jam and tons of others, has a cool 116 page book and all that . . .

    The one to get!
